The Heart Reef scenic flight is an hour in the air plus pickup and airport time.

If you want to spend your one day at the outer reef, Cruise Whitsundays' Hardy Reef pontoon includes an underwater observatory and semi-submarine for people who stay dry, as well as snorkelling for those who go in. Book a morning and afternoon combination only when both current listings show compatible meeting points and enough buffer.
